- Statement
- Step 1: Determine the jurisdiction (state/territory/commonwealth) in which the fishery operates. Determine whether culturally significant species are defined for the jurisdiction. If none are defined, report "Culturally significant species data not found" and the year of data collection for the framework. Step 2: Search for reports or other sources detailing legal requirements for protections for the species identified in Step 1. Step 3: If any protections for the species are present in the fishery's jurisdiction, report "Presence" and the data's year of provenance and/or publication (for the most recent source) where available. Otherwise, report "Protections not found" and the year of data collection for the framework. Note: This indicator is aspirational until lists are formalised for each jurisdiction. In this version of Healthcheck, the indicator is not configured and does not output any results.
