- Statement
- Step 1: Search for any reports of full lifecycle traceability assessment and reporting for each of the fishery's target species. If no reports are found, report "One up one down ONLY" for all individual target species as this is the minimum legal requirement for traceability under the national Food Standards Code (FSANZ). Record the year of data collection for the framework. Step 2: If reports are found and they indicate any additional traceability mechanisms, assessment, and/or reporting in place (above and beyond FSANZ requirements) for the target species, report "Extended traceability" for that species and the data's year of provenance and/or publication (for the most recent source) where available. If the reports do not indicate extended traceability, report "One up one down ONLY" for that species and the data's year of provenance and/or publication (for the most recent source) where available.
