Resource lineage

Statement
Video data were collected using a MorphCam digital underwater video camera and recorded to miniDV cassette. Positional information was provided from an OmniLite 132 differential GPS. Time, date and positional information were directly stamped onto the frames of the video using a video genlock device, and also recorded as a track log into a text file (*.csv). Video transects were conducted at regular intervals along the coastline, generally across the depth gradient. Vessel speed during collection was typically 1-2 kts. The video is archived as MPEG1 and MPEG2 compliant video files with associated track log files and named according to location, date and transect number.
