- Step 1: Determine the jurisdiction (state/territory/commonwealth) in which the fishery operates. Step 2: Search for evidence of culturally safe training/employment programs in the fishery's jurisdiction geared towards the inclusion of Indigenous peoples. These could be supporting their participation in the fishery by offering e.g. upskilling programs tailored to Indigenous peoples or by offering training in cultural sensitivity for existing fishery workers. Step 3: If any programs are indicated, report "Evidence of presence" and the data's year of provenance and/or publication (for the most recent source) where available. Otherwise report "Data not found" and the year of data collection for the framework.
