Metric: Sensitivity level or score of fishery target species. Measures how vulnerable target species are to environmental pressures and change.

Metric: Number of fishery closures due to external environmental contaminants in the past 5 years. Measures how often fishing activities are suspended because of pollution or contamination risks.

Metric: Presence/absence of formal agreements (e.g. TUMRAs, co-management plans, Sea Country IPA) in place for the defined fishing area. Indicates whether formal arrangements, such as co-management plans or Sea Country agreements, are in place for the area.

Metric: Annual average per capita annual consumption of seafood (kg/person). Measures the average amount of seafood consumed by each person in Australia annually.

Metric: Annual climate-related financial losses ($AUD). Measures the financial losses experienced due to climate-related events such as storms, heatwaves, or changing ocean conditions.

Metric: Extent of negative communication (number of instances) about the fishery, target species, or extraction/production method(s) in the past 5 years. Measures the number of reported instances of negative media coverage, campaigns, or public commentary relating to the fishery.

Metric: Trend in average annual International Trade Price Index for imported fish expressed as a percentage change from previous year. Measures the changes in the price of imported fish products from one year to the next.

Metric: Food Supply Chain Index for the fishery's jurisdiction. Aspirational indicator, data not yet available. Measures the resilience and performance of the food supply chain supporting seafood production and distribution.

Metric: Proportion of the jurisdictional waters (state/territory or Commonwealth) in which the fishery operates that are under some level of IUCN protection. Measures the percentage of waters within the jurisdiction that are managed under recognised protected area categories.

Metric: Dependence on employment in fisheries by state/territory as expressed by the ratio of total employed population working in fisheries. Measures the share of the total workforce employed in fisheries-related jobs.
