IMOS - National Reef Monitoring Network Sub-Facility - Image Annotation Protocol Manual

Various methods in image annotation are possible, this protocol provides a method of producing standardised habitat cover data compatible with previous work. This allows data synthesis over broad scales, contributing to downstream platforms for reef reporting, such as the Reef Life Explorer, and enhancing the Findability, Accessibility, Interoperability and Reusability (FAIR) of data.

This document forms part of the National Reef Monitoring Network Sub-Facility data. The National Reef Monitoring Network provides publicly accessible data for shallow reef biodiversity on a global scale, integrating high quality compatible data from long-term scientific monitoring programs and citizen science programs globally.
