Project A5 - Hammerhead connectivity movement KMZ files

Google Earth KMZ files of hammerhead sharks tagged with Wildlife Computers miniPAT archival tags and SPOT6 tags. Files of animals tagged with MiniPAT tags include an MELE polygon, which is the 'Maximum extent of location estimates', that is, a polygon enclosing all position estimates at the maximum error level (100 km). Collectively, movements are restricted within state waters with no hammerheads moving across state or International boundaries.

Statement
Great and scalloped hammerhead sharks tagged with Wildlife computers miniPAT and SPOT^ satellite tags. MiniPAT tag data have been processed using the Wildlife Computers GPE3 geolocation processing algorithm with a designated animal swimming speed of 0.7 m/s. SPOT6 data are precise location data and the MKZ files show exact location estiamtes for tagged animals. There is no MELE polygon associated with the SPOT6 data. File naming convention SHH denotes scalloped hammerhead; GHH denotes great hammerhead, the six digit number is the tag number referenced in the tagged animal metadata. Note that tagging data for miniPAT 163619 and 139075 are not included as there are unresolvable data errors with 163619, and 139075 died after tagging (this animal was tagged opportunistically by WA fisheries during a survey/observer trip)
