Statement
A small blood sample of ~1 ml was collected from the web vein of the foot using a 26-gauge needle and capillary tubes. During 2005 to 2008, blood samples were kept on ice until they were stored in a freezer at -20ÂșC on return from the island. In 2012 to 2015, blood samples were stored in 70% ethanol.
