Resource lineage

Statement
Amphibolis antarctica and Posidonia australis plants were transplanted by the Malgana people with assistance from UWA staff. Plants were planted within a 25m2 plot, and then assessed for shoot counts after 8 months. A living shoot was identified by the presence of at least one living leaf (green) per individual shoot and shoot counts were tallied for each individual plant. Transplant plots were 25 m2 in area and located at Middle Bluff and Dubaut Point, Shark Bay.
